How did you feel before your VFM program?
Before the VFM program I felt stuck in my fitness and health routine
Were you happy with yourself?
I was happy with myself as far as the direction I was going to be in the best shape and health, I needed to be to be comfortable with my body but didn’t know exactly how to execute that success.
Did you feel healthy?
I felt healthy as far what I was eating but I think I was eating too much at one time but not enough throughout the day. I was mostly eating more like 80-10-10 so it took me about a week to adjust to the meal plans and portions since I mostly ate fruit and vegetables.
What were your goals when signing up to your program? Did you achieve those goals? If not why?
My goals were to have less body fat, all over tone and muscles. I did achieve these goals. Not as much as I wanted to but I know it takes some bodies longer to get where they’re going.
How quickly/slowly did you start seeing results?
I started see results the first week. Probably due the change in eating habits, I was already pretty active before the VFM program.
Are you now closer to your goals?
I’m definitely closer to where I want to be and will continue practicing what I have learned from Crissi’s coaching.
How did Crissi help you to achieve those goals?
Crissi taught me how to properly eat and focus on more compound movements with weights and increase my cardio a little more to reach my goals. I was always afraid to overdo the cardio, thinking I would lose my muscle gains. But I have actually gained more.
Did you find the coaching sessions and regular My Fitness Pal (MFP) tracking helpful in your progress?
I found the coaching and the MFP diary tracking a crucial part of my program because it keeps you accountable to what you’re doing. The coaching sessions help if you have questions and having 1×1 feedback makes you feel important and that Crissi cares about your progress. MFP is a great tool to your success because you can see what you’re putting into your body and keep track of it.
Has your VFM program changed your life? If so, how?
The VFM program has made me realize I can achieve goals I never thought I could before and it has given me confidence I’ve never had.
What about your family and friends lives?
It has changed my husband’s life as far as he’s more active now and he has started meal prepping.
List three key points you have learned from your VFM program.
- No matter how far you come on your fitness journey, you can always go further
- Only you can keep yourself from reaching your goals
- You can’t always expect someone else to motivate you. It’s your job to motivate yourself.
Have other people noticed changes in you? Have you inspired them?
My husband has noticed lots of changes in my body as well as my co-workers at work. I definitely can say I have inspired them to exercise more and eat cleaner.
Did you enjoy the program?
I enjoyed the program overall. I will say that eating cold prepped food at times, was a challenge at first but then I just got used to it.
Would you recommended it to friends and family?
I would recommend Crissi’s programs to anyone looking to just feel better to getting on stage.
Have you set any new goals for the future?
I have goals to get even leaner and muscular. Get them abs and back muscles to popping out. Maybe firm up the booty more.
Please tell us anything else you LOVED about your VFM Program!
I really love VFM FB group. There is so much inspiration in the private Facebook members group. I loved learning new recipes and looking at all the comp photos of the girls on competition prep program. Plus getting a free t-shirt was cool to show off.
Coach Crissi’s words on Crystal
Crystal started my program with a clear direction on what she wanted to achieve. Every coaching session Crystal had questions, we made changes and tweaks along the way and she implemented and stuck to the program 100%. Crystal was amazing to coach, as she had the passion to over come any obstacle that stood in her way. This is only the beginning for her on her journey, and I can’t wait to see her after, after photos soon!
